Daily Journal Continued May 01,1999, By-William Thomas Thompson Let us all rejoice in the Lord God for He is Holy and true. It is the day that Russia always paraded their big guns through the streets of Moscow to threaten the world with their power. The crazy people of this world like the man now killing Kosovo thinks they can take over the world and replace God. The devil's mind is the same for all,a devil's mentality to destroy people and things including themselves ultimately. To destroy others is to destroy self. Satan's mind is to destroy all and the vices are always the same,smoking,drinking,cursing,drugs and guns. Guns have replaced the switchblade in the inner cities. Death is of the devil always God bless America,the land of the free and silent constitution. The KentuckyDerby is today for a triple crown. The horses are not the main attraction,gambling is. America gambles in every state I see and especially in LasVegas where Howard Hughes supposably but now is widespread and from riverboats on the Mississippi River to the water front of the Gulf Coast. Atlantic City serves New York and the NorthEast to part foolish people from their childrens mo-ney. Reports of people walking to the airport in Vegas carrying a suitcase because they lost it all and have no taxi fare. Some do buy them a bus ticket home if they lost enough in that casino. I think in most cases the city sends them home at the tax payer ex-pense not for charity but to prevent bad press toward the results of gambling. Vegas is built on sad money lost to the powerful ca-sinos by chance 90 percent. As I drove North on I-385 to I-85 for breakfast with a friend,I heard Talamadge Spence on WMUU Radio in speaking about casting of lots in the Bible from the OldTestament to the New Testament. They even cast lots for jobs building their temple of King Soloman. Dr. Spence stated that God holds the lots for us all and that lot changes every 7 years for better or worse depending on where God wants or needs us either on the hilltop or down in the valley where satan will tempt us and try us as in the fire of life. Let our endlot be sure in the hands of God Almighty and our soul be secure in the hands of God who lives in Heaven. I marvel at His power and grace extended to us as the part of fall- en man. The love of God covers all the universe even to its outer edge where mankind announced here on earth today the discovery of a new circle of planets billions of light years away from us. The solar system may actually have no end like God has no beginning. God has no ending,He is forever and I can only praise Him all day long and all nightlong and forever more. God is without end,money has an end,gambling has a quick end. We have a sure end to life on earth as we know it in this body. The earth will never end but the world will end for sure. The earth will be renewed and all of the water purified. Food will be pure again without the poisons a farmer uses today. People seek an answer to all of this while the confusion mounts. A simple trust in God will do but today reports are that people are buying up vegetable seed at an alarming rate. The people know its coming with explosions on earth and in outer space. The Fed has printed $50 billion extra but now $200 billion to try and cover the expected run on the banks. This like the war said to be NATO but is the USA. The Federal(private business)Res-erve puts the monkey back on the USA governments back to pay with the taxpayer rented money where they,the banks profit for sure. People who suck cigerette and blow smoke in the face of family and others within range are to be pitted as stupid idoits but it time to put their fire out. Water them down or stomp them out or do something to stop them before they kill themselves,their fam-ilies,friends and others. Every puff is a puff toward hell where all burn but donot burn up. I feel however that you may have wanted to hear more about how I paint. My journal has not yet reached a point where I can settle down to art alone although I should have chosen a day of it to read that described in more detail the way I paint. I have been concerned about this and wondering if I could ever stay on the subject since I paint about prophecy being fullfilled as I see it happening every day in so many world events. (Some call it spiritual or soul art from the inside of me.) I find it hard to describe how I paint art because with me it all just seems to happen and I do not really know why or how I do it. Everyday I intend to describe it but find it impossible with all there is to say otherwise that seems so important. like sugar is easy for the body to burn and the fat so hard. Others descibe my method of painting so well. Jim Mann calls it wet on wet but I do not yet know what he means by that term. In any case if I am ever invited to speak again I will attempt to better control the sub- ject to art without all the current events and my journal life. It was originally suggested that I paint a picture daily to cor-respond with my journal but I have not,Its hard like burning fat. (Health,the art of living and feeling good and strong) I actually feel more like a consumer advocate than an artist. All my energy is spent trying to get well. What is bad for me to eat is bad for the world,what is healthy for me is healthy the world. I hope to change people to better health by eating better food in this synthetic world. I estimate half the people are sick in mind and body. Fried foods with white flour and hydrogenated corn oils like margarine is killing America I believe. My motivation daily and consistantly is to show people like they are in time relative to Bible prophecy. Things happen for me on canvas that amaze me. I have no talent. The inspiration is from God yet I must control it,there is a temptation always to misuse it for personal reason. Roger Manley wanted it to be put up in a spiral display but Mark Ward at AVAM hung it like a cathedral ceiling I believe for space reasons. Some of the places on the world tour it is planned to show next year complain that they do not have enough space and have ask for a reduced size. (I do not see it as fine art or folk art but visionary art.) The kingdom of God is not controled by the church,not the modern church. I am reluctant to answer the question about my membership in the church of today. I have mixed feelings. I understand why they do not allow art in the protestant movement. My art is diff-erent and I am disappointed that it is rejected by the church but happy that it seems to be popular with people,I feel alienated by the church. My mission is on the street. I still love the church. We need it transported and put up for $5,000.00 or less. This is to include 1 coat of primer and 2coats of oil base black paint on all metal. every handrail 36inch tall. 1-Front and side fence 55 peices 4footx10foot long with spears on every vertical rod plus 8 post to compete where we do not have it all ready up. There should be conectors included to stabalize. 2-Front porch steps,2 hand rails 36inches tall,70inches long and 30 inches rise from the first step to the porch floor. 3 post is needed to support each hand rail and a botton flange on each of the post to mount to the steps and porch floor. The railends should be rolled down for safety in a decortive fashion. 3-Side steps with 2 hand rails turning out at 90 degrees on porch to the left 28inches and the right 30inches each raising 29inches and each rail 64inches long starting on a new poured wallway and mounting on the porch floor then each turning 90 degrees with one extra post at the end near the collums. 6 post total 36 inches. 3A-2 fence 3feet tall and 33 feet long to mount into rock collum and a gate 3 feet tall x 5feet wide including double gates (54") (collums now being built,twin gates should match old front gates) 4-Side steps 2 rails should mount to rock wall at the top and the cement walk at base. 27inches high,60 inches long. 5-3 steps in front of number 4 with 2 rails for 3 steps,16inches tall mounted on flat brackets to concrete walk and on top step. 40 inches long (16 inches rise). 6-End steps 1 center rail 36 inches tall rise in 78 inches long. 3 post mounted at base on concrete walkway and into rock step center and top. 7-Kitchen steps 2 rails 7 steps,start by mounting on concrete walk with 3 post each. The rise is 44 tall and 84 inches long. 8-Back steps are in two sections. A single handrail centered for A-1 rail 90 inches long and 60 inches high over 9 steps. B-1 rail 36 inches long and raising 12 inches. 9-Deck fences as described for 2 decks plus top fencing 18 inches tall for a 3rd deck 3 peices,1 12feet long,1 11feet long and 1 8feet 8inches long mounted on flat plate to the top flat rock. The Las Vegas Art Museum is planning to publish my work from last Summers show in a book including a fold out cover showing the 300 foot painting of Revelation. This will be out later this year. My painting of Revelation will show this Fall in St.Louis at the City Museum,701 15th Street and maybe in Paris for the New Years going into the year 2000. I am very pleased. Dr. Carol Crown at the University of Memphis has written extensively about it. She saw this painting in Atlanta and came to Baltimore to see it. The South Carolina State Museum has now acquired 6 of my paint-ings of Revelation scenes on the heavier canvas and stretchers in size 3x4 feet. These look good without frames with black borders. These paintings will be in their permanent collection and they will feature my work in this years end of this century show and catalog of 100 years and 100 artist of the 20th century. I hope you will come to this event on May 8th and 9th. I found the End is Near book in stock in Borders Books in Honolulu and ask them about a book signing. They were interested with 4 stores in the islands and 1 in Hong Kong also in Australia. I told Steve and suggested he have a major book signing and promotion at AVAM.
